Using two of the best flight controllers we give you the option of which one you want to go with if you fly with a DJI we offer the solution with the DJI A2 with Gps this is a great flight controller which is very stabilized and easy to use and has the ability to expand on as you grow.. The second option is the Holybro PixHawk 4 Mini this flight controller is next level as it is a fully capable autonomous Flight controller with the use of data radios (purchased separately). In both cases each Flight Controller has safety features such as RTL (Return and Land) and Stabilized Mode. Included in this package is the FrSky Taranis X9D Plus 2.4GHz ACCST Radio & X8R Combo (Mode 2) this is a great radio easy to use and setup perfect for the entry level or experienced aerial photographer.

Included Radio Specifications:

This is the new and very powerful FrSky Taranis RC X9D Plus radio system. The radio also includes a Haptic Vibration Feedback System which provides an alternative feedback system to the existing voice and sound. If you are a club member this is a welcome addition without annoying your fellow club members. The Plus also includes a dual color LCD back-lit screen, allowing you to adjust from white to blue. Each radio ships with the newest firmware version to support the new haptic vibration feedback system. This combo includes the FrSky X8R 16ch Receiver with SBUS, Smart Port and Amplified PCB Antennas.

Note: The SWR check of the transmitter antenna is no longer available.

When it comes to possibilities the Frsky TARANIS sets a new standard. FrSky is well known for their frequency hopping ACCST technology, that takes advantage of the entire 2.4GHz band, resulting in excellent range and reliability, they now offer their first full transmitter system.

The TARANIS mixes the  power of the “OPEN TX” open-source software with an unbelievable ergonomic case with 8 programmable switches, two twist knobs and two easy to get to lateral 'slider' pots, and not to mention the ultra-smooth quad bearing gimbals.

The TARANIS utilizes Voice Alerts from an internal speaker, versus just an annoying beeper. For things like; audible Count down timers, low voltage warnings, landing gear down warnings etc., just about anything can be programmed, you can even use your own voice. The SD card slot offers unlimited memory options and a USB port for upgrades even a headphone jack.

One of the best features of the TARANIS is its full telemetry capability, as well as RSSI signal strength feedback, there are 3 different programmable fail-safe modes and receiver lock, so no more crashes due to selecting the wrong model. If you have stock in other brand receivers or BNF’s, no worries the TARANIS has a JR style RF module slot, so you have the option of other brand modules such as the Orange DSM2/DSMX or Open LRS 433mhz module, or pop in another Frsky module to expand the transmitters capabilities even more with duel RF.

When you put it all together, between FrSky ACCST technology and the power of “OPEN TX” software and community, a ergonomic case with ultra-smooth smooth ball bearing gimbals and a large back-lit LCD with an included battery pack. You have versatility and power at an unprecedented value.

The Pixhawk® 4 Mini autopilot

The Pixhawk® 4 Mini autopilot is designed for engineers and hobbyists who are looking to tap into the power of Pixhawk 4 but are working with smaller drones. Pixhawk 4 Mini takes the FMU processor and memory resources from the Pixhawk 4 while eliminating interfaces that are normally unused. This allows the Pixhawk 4 Mini to be small enough to fit in a 250mm racing drone.

DJI-A2 Flight Controller with GPS

The DJI A2 Flight Controller is the most advanced multirotor stabilization controller on the market, and it ensures total ease of flight, reliability, and stability in any situation. The A2 is a total solution for aerial photography.

Supports 9 Types of Multi-rotor and a Customized Motor Mixer

It’s a UAS that’s targeted at commercial and industrial multi-rotor platforms with simple configuration, easy installation and stable performance. It also supports customized motor mixing, which can meet the demand of high-end users.

Intelligent Orientation Control (IOC)

Usually, the forward direction of a flying multi-rotor is the same as the nose direction. By using Intelligent Orientation Control (IOC), it's possible to lock the forward direction independent of the nose direction. It's also possible to lock the forward direction to a preselected home point.

Point of Interest (POI)

 A2 has a POI function: Point of Interest. When the GPS signal is good, users can record the current position of the aircraft as a point of interest by a preset switch on the remote controller. The aircraft can achieve a circling flight around the point of interest with the nose pointing at the POI in an area of 5 meters to 500 meters radius, when the roll command is given. This function is easy to set and simple to operate, it is suitable for all-round shooting of a fixed scenic spot.

Intelligent Landing Gear Function

Once you have enabled the Intelligent Landing Gear function in the assistant software, the landing gear defaults to the Lower position when the aircraft is on the ground; and the system will lower the landing gear in emergency, motor failure or auto landing in order to protect the aircraft and gimbal. You can choose to lower or retract the landing gear by a switch when the aircraft altitude is over 5m from the ground.

Auto Return-To-Home /One-Key Go-Home

If the multirotor and its controller disconnects during flight, the system’s failsafe protection will come to the rescue and if the signal is good enough, the multirotor will return to home and land automatically.

You can also program a One Key Go Home function through the Assistant software.

Multi-Rotor One-Motor Fail Protection

This function means that when the aircraft is in attitude or GPS attitude mode, and one of the motors stops, the aircraft will retain good attitude and rotate around the frame arm with the stopped motor. In this condition, the aircraft is still under control and returns home safely and highly reduces the risk of a crash.
